LUCKNOW: Eliminating human interference in adjudicating the best marching contingent, the Indian Army will, for the first time in its 76th Army Day Parade, introduce artificial intelligence (AI) to assess the drill performance of men in olive green uniforms and black boots with rifles.

A visual of the AI assessing the march past, shared by the army on X, revealed that the computer was measuring the contingent’s movement uniformity in millimeters.
